Alpine Adventures — Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Alpine Adventures. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and services, and outline the agreement between you (the “Traveller”) and Alpine Adventures (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By booking any tour, activity, or service with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
1. About Us
Alpine Adventures is a licensed tour operator registered with the Department of Tourist Services (DTS), Government of Pakistan. We organise guided tours, custom itineraries, and adventure activities across Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, and other regions of Pakistan.

2. Booking & Confirmation
2.1 Booking Request
Submitting a booking form on our website does not confirm your reservation. It is a request for services, and confirmation is subject to availability, seat capacity, and receipt of the deposit.
2.2 Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only when:
- We send you a written confirmation via email or WhatsApp, AND
- We receive the required deposit amount.
2.3 Deposit Requirements
- Standard tours: 30% advance payment required to confirm your seat.
- Custom tours: 40% advance payment required.
- Large group bookings (10+ travellers): 50% advance payment required.
2.4 Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid before or on the day of departure, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
2.5 Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing accurate personal information (name, phone, email, CNIC/passport details) at the time of booking. Alpine Adventures is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the Traveller.
3. Pricing & Payments
3.1 Tour Prices
All prices are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless stated otherwise. Prices are per person and based on the package selected (e.g., Standard Group, Couple/Twin Sharing, Private, etc.).
3.2 What’s Included
Each tour page lists what is included in the price (e.g., transport, accommodation, meals, guide). Please review this carefully before booking.
3.3 What’s Not Included
Unless explicitly stated, the following are NOT included:
- Airfare, train tickets, or inter-city travel to the departure city
- Lunch, snacks, and personal beverages
- Entry tickets to monuments, museums, or national parks
- Personal expenses (shopping, tips, laundry, phone calls)
- Travel insurance
- Any activity not listed in the itinerary
- Costs arising from delays, natural disasters, road closures, or events beyond our control
3.4 Price Changes
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by subsequent price increases. Prices may be higher during peak seasons (Eid, summer holidays, New Year) and national holidays.
3.5 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer (Meezan Bank, HBL, UBL, etc.)
- JazzCash
- EasyPaisa
- Cash on arrival (for select tours)
3.6 Taxes
All applicable government taxes are included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise.
4. Traveller Responsibilities
4.1 Valid Identification
All travellers must carry a valid, government-issued ID (CNIC for Pakistani nationals, passport for foreign nationals). Original documents are required at the time of departure.
4.2 Health & Fitness
You must be in reasonable health to participate in our tours. If you have any medical condition (heart problem, asthma, diabetes, pregnancy, recent surgery), you must inform us in advance. Certain activities (trekking, jeep safari, paragliding) may not be suitable for travellers with specific health conditions.
4.3 Behaviour & Conduct
Travellers must:
- Respect local customs, traditions, and religious sensitivities
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times
- Avoid littering, damaging property, or disturbing wildlife
- Respect fellow travellers and tour staff
Alpine Adventures reserves the right to remove any traveller from the tour (without refund) if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or illegal.
4.4 Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable Pakistani laws during your tour, including environmental regulations, traffic rules, and local ordinances.
5. Itinerary Changes
5.1 Right to Modify
Alpine Adventures reserves the right to modify or rearrange the itinerary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Road closures (landslides, avalanches, snowfall)
- Government restrictions or security concerns
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Circumstances beyond our control
5.2 No Refund for Changes
If the itinerary is modified for reasons beyond our control, no refund will be issued. However, we will do our best to provide an equivalent alternative experience.
5.3 Voluntarily Leaving the Tour
If a traveller chooses to leave the tour midway, they will bear all additional expenses (transport, accommodation, food) and no refund will be issued for unused services.
6. Vehicles & Accommodation
6.1 Vehicles
Vehicle types are assigned based on group size and road conditions. AC does not function effectively in hilly areas — this is normal and not a valid reason for complaint or refund.
6.2 Accommodation
Hotel bookings are made on twin-sharing basis unless specified. Room upgrades and single supplements may be available at an extra cost. In remote areas, accommodation is subject to availability. If the booked hotel is unavailable, we will provide accommodation of a similar standard.
6.3 Check-in / Check-out
Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel availability.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms are covered in detail in our Cancellation Policy (see separate page).
Key highlights:
- 7+ days before departure: Full refund minus deposit
- 3–7 days before departure: 50% refund
- Under 3 days before departure: No refund
- Cancellations due to force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions): Credit note issued
8. Force Majeure
Alpine Adventures is not liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, landslides, avalanches)
- Government-imposed travel bans or restrictions
- Road closures (KKH blockages, military operations)
- Pandemics, epidemics, or health emergencies
- Civil unrest, political instability, or terrorism
- Strikes or labour disputes
- Extreme weather conditions
In such cases, we will offer a credit note valid for 12 months, or a refund minus actual costs incurred (subject to our discretion).
9. Liability & Insurance
9.1 Company Liability
Alpine Adventures is not liable for:
- Personal injury, illness, or death during a tour, except where caused by our negligence
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
- Delays, missed connections, or additional costs arising from events beyond our control
- Any third-party services (hotels, restaurants, activity providers)
9.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings. Alpine Adventures does not provide insurance.
9.3 Adventure Activities
Adventure activities (trekking, jeep safari, paragliding, rafting, camping) carry inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks. A separate liability waiver may be required for some activities.
10. Photography & Media
Alpine Adventures and its guides may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in a tour, you grant us the right to use your image in our marketing materials without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in photos, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
11. Reviews & Testimonials
By submitting a review, testimonial, or feedback, you grant Alpine Adventures the right to publish it on our website, social media, and marketing materials, with attribution to your name (or anonymously, if requested).
12. Website Terms of Use
12.1 Content Accuracy
We strive to keep tour information accurate and up to date, but errors may occur. Prices, availability, and itinerary details are subject to change without notice.
12.2 Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, logos, graphics) is the property of Alpine Adventures and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.
12.3 External Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.
12.4 User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our website for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading booking information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or copy content
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.
14. Changes to These Term
Alpine Adventures reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
